Swiyyah Woodard is a best-selling author, inspirational speaker, and TV producer who transforms personal adversity into powerful advocacy for mental health awareness. Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, she has made it her mission to destigmatize mental illness and share her story of resilience with the community.

A resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, Woodard is the author of the fictional book "Don't Call Me Crazy!" and the non-fiction true Christian inspiration book "Let’s Be Inspired: Undefeated Despite Schizophrenia". Her first book gained academic acclaim, becoming required and suggested reading in various university courses, including Writing, Reading, Abnormal and General Psychology.

Woodard's dedication to education and advocacy has earned her recognition, including being honored as a Bay News 9 Everyday Hero, seen by two million viewers, for her impactful community work. 

Raised Muslim, she gave her life to Christ after several Godly revelations and after meeting her husband, Deacon Dederick Woodard.
